2022 Liberty Christian (Lynchburg) Zach Rice Zach Rice 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Liberty Christian Academy | 2022 State VA
Rice is not only the top offensive lineman right now, but he may be one of the best to ever come from the state. Big, physical, and nasty are all words used to describe the ideal offensive lineman and all three apply to Rice on the field, while off the field, he is one of the nicest kids you can meet. I haven’t been shy in saying that Rice has the potential top be a top-five NFL draft pick after college if he continues to develop, Rice is down to his top schools, including Alabama, UVA, UNC, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. Rice is our top OL and second overall prospect in our 2022 rankings.
2023 Broad Run (Ashburn) Alex Birchmeier Alex Birchmeier 6'5" | 275 lbs | OL Broad Run | 2023 State VA
Birchmeier is impressive for his age as he is the top-rated OL in our 2023 rankings and the top overall player. At 6’5″ and 275lbs, he isn’t the biggest kid in our 2023 rankings but he has good hands and good footwork and has already proven himself to be a top-flight offensive lineman. Birchmeier is also a state champion in wrestling and holds offers from schools including Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, UNC, Oklahoma, UVA, and Virginia Tech.
2022 Lord Botetourt (Daleville) Gunner Givens Gunner Givens 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Lord Botetout | 2022 State VA
Givens is our second-rated OL in our 2022 rankings and the third overall prospect. At 6’5″ and 275lbs, Givens is a big, physical lineman who could actually end up going to the same school as Zach Rice Zach Rice 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Liberty Christian Academy | 2022 State VA as they have a few schools in common amongst their top schools. Givens has UNC, Alabama, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Penn State, and Ohio State in his top six that he released last November
2023 Colonial Forge (Stafford) Nolan McConnell Nolan McConnell 6'7" | 305 lbs | OL Colonial Forge | 2023 State VA
McConnell is our second-rated OL and fourth overall in the 2023 class and has more size than Birchmeier as McConnell is listed at 6’7″ and 305lbs. McConnell also boasts a 3.6 GPA and has been racking up offers lately. Just since February 1st, McConnell has picked up offers from West Virginia, Maryland, Ole Miss, Michigan State, and Virginia Tech to go along with offers from schools including FSU, Arkansas, Nebraska, Liberty, UVA, Pitt, and more.
2022 Graham (Bluefield) Brody Meadows Brody Meadows 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Graham | 2022 State VA
Another 6’7″ OL, Meadows stands at 315lbs and is our third-ranked OL and 11th overall prospect in the 2022 class. Meadows will be making his first official visit soon at UVA with the COVID-influenced dead period ending June 1st and the Cavs look to be the leader for his commitment but are joined by Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Liberty, and East Carolina.
Next will be the top overall defensive linemen.
