Deion Suber was one of the most difficult receivers to defend throughout Day 1 of the Gardner-Webb Mega Camp. The rising senior consistently created separation with a smooth release package and sudden, cat-quick movements that resembled a skilled basketball player. What makes Suber even more impressive is how fluid and explosive he is despite his size. Defensive backs struggled to stay in phase with him as he effortlessly got in and out of breaks and made plays at every level of the field. Suber’s combination of size, athleticism, and route-running ability made him one of the top overall pass-catchers in attendance and a prospect college coaches should continue to monitor closely.
