Nate’s Big Dogs of the Week: Milaca/Annandale-Defense

Here are my five top performers from the Class 3A Section 5 game between Milaca and Annandale. <em><strong>Logan Molacek, DB, Senior, Milaca</strong></em> -Congratulations to Logan Molacek from Milaca, he is the first-ever player on BOTH sides of Nate's Big Dogs of the Week list. Molacek had some key tackles and an interception for the Wolves. <em><strong>Lucas Bachel, DE, Senior, Annandale</strong></em> "Bachel with the tackle" is a common rhyme I heard all night in Annandale from the announcer. Bachel not only had 2 offensive touchdowns but he had some key tackles and a big sack for the Cardinals defense <em><strong>Bodee Zens, Defensive Line, Junior, Milaca</strong></em> -Zens was another key tackler for the Wolves. This class of 2021 prospect, will need to be the man on defense for Wolves as they are graduating a large amount of their defense going into next year. <strong>Defensive MVP (tied)- </strong><em><strong>Logan Purcell, DE, Junior, Annandale and Brett Honsey, LB, Senior, Annandale</strong></em> -A decision could not be made on this one. With Purcell, you have a player that made many key tackles and an INT on the night. With Honsey, well if you are looking for a ballhawk on defense and a player that double-digit tackles last night, Brett Honsey is your guy. I will post a poll on Twitter to decide a winner!
