Tight-end Ranking Risers

We have updated our rankings at Prepredzone and will be bringing you ranking coverage all week long. Today we cover some of the best tight ends the state has too offer. Some of these guys were not on our list altogether last year and have moved up and made their names known. Here they are your class of 2022 tight ends. &nbsp; &nbsp; A name well-known name is<em><strong> Dewitt HS -</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="75073" first="Dax" last="Courtney"]</em>, the big 6-6 tight end is at the top of our list at the NO.1 spot. The big receiving tight-end committed to the Razorbacks last fall and will stay in state to play out his college career. Dax has a scheduled visit this fall in September, after not being able to visit the campus because of COVID. https://twitter.com/daxcourtney3_/status/1292142942069469184?s=20 Courtney had 16 division one offers from colleges like Baylor, Michigan State, Penn State, TCU, and UTSA. The Dewitt star was a man amongst boys out there on the field--bigger, faster, and stronger than everyone else on the field. The team would even line him up at running back and let him do his thing with the ball because no one could touch him or bring him down. Next up is<em><strong> Prescott HS -</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="75096" first="Caleb" last="Harris"]</em>. Harris is an athlete who plays multiple sports. The three-sport athlete who plays basketball and throws shot put recorded a 45-0 as a sophomore. Caleb is also versatile enough to play wide receiver and oh yeah the guy can punt the ball too. He should prove to put on an impressive senior campaign, even though he has had a career this far has landed him amongst the top tight ends on our list and giving him 4 Division I offers from schools such as Louisiana Tech, Arkansas Tech, Ole Miss, and Middle Tennesse State. https://twitter.com/Caleb33Harris/status/1364030706733744131?s=20 Next up would be <em><strong>Gentry HS- </strong> [player_tooltip player_id="75106" first="Garrison" last="Jackson"]</em> who is a two-sport athlete and is very impressive on the track team as well as the football team. Jackson recently received his first offer from SAGU at the beginning of this month and we see plenty more offers in store for this big guy. In Jackson’s junior year he had 27 receptions for 335 yards and 2 touchdowns. The number of pancakes won’t go down in the stat sheet but this tight end can put people in the dirt and get out in space to block downfield for ball carriers. I love this guy’s receiving ability and he has to be one of the most underrated players in the state with a lack of offers and stars-- but he is still very much a top prospect in my mind. &nbsp; Last but not least is 6-5 tight end who has committed to the University of Tulane already,<em><strong> Salem HS -</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="95549" first="Tyler" last="Siddons"]</em>. Tyler has very raw talent and plays both sides of the ball and can excel on both sides. Tyler will ultimately play offensive line in college and should excel there because of his size and athleticism.
