2023 Linebackers Rankings

This week we are bringing you the class of 2023 rankings and updates. Here are some of the best linebackers the state has to offer. Some big-time names are on here as well as some big-time colleges are after these prospects. See who they are here.       [player_tooltip player_id="136129" first="Anthony" last="Hill"] Jr. | 6-2, 225 | LB | Denton Ryan Our NO. 1 state player in the state is on the defensive side of the ball. Hill is at the top of all 2023 prospects and for good reason. The star linebacker is very versatile and can play multiple positions. Nonetheless, his relentless pursuit to the ball and his elite skills have him earning national attention. Doesn’t hurt he plays for the raining state champs in Denton Ryan.     [player_tooltip player_id="136153" first="Christian" last="Brathwaite"] | 6-1, 225 | LB | Cy Ranch The Cy Ranch linebacker was the 2020 Texas District 16-6A first-team selection as a sophomore and has accumulated 57 total tackles, 3 TFLs, 1 Forced Fumble, and 1 Fumble Recovery. Not bad for playing on varsity since his freshmen year. His junior and senior campaigns should be fun to watch. Colorado Buffaloes and the Baylor Bears have both offered Christian already. Not very often because I don’t think it’s all too common nowadays. However, Crawford runs the 100-meter dash and long jump posting an 11.33 in the 100 and a 21.6.25 long jump. This guy is athletic as they come and get into the backfield in a hurry. Holds offer to schools like Arizona State, Baylor, Colorado, and SMU, with a total of 7 division I offers at the moment.   [player_tooltip player_id="136154" first="Brandon" last="Miyazono"] | 6’2" 200 lbs | LB / ATH| Frisco In 2020 Brandon earned defensive newcomer of the year. Also, another track star who runs and throws the discus. Brandon had 45 total tackles, 3 sacks, and 4 fumble recoveries. The guy can flat out fly to the ball and make plays before anyone else can even realize what’s happened.   [player_tooltip player_id="136155" first="Brody" last="Bujnoch"] | 6’3" 220 lbs | LB | Hutto Last season Brody put up some impressive numbers earning his way into our top ten. 60 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 2 PBUs, and 4 INTs on the year. A very impressive season for the Hutto linebacker to say the least. He should put on an impressive senior campaign and earn a couple of offers. at 6-3, 220 you gotta love his size and ability to move as well as he does.   [player_tooltip player_id="136156" first="Grant" last="Mirabal"] | 6’2" 235 lbs | LB | Argyle Grant can play both sides of the ball at linebacker and at tight end. He is athletic and big enought to make some eletric plays. Look for him to put out some more impressive tape in years to come.   [player_tooltip player_id="136157" first="Elijah" last="Fields"] | 6’1" 245 lbs | LB | Spring Fields is fast and has been clocked with a laser 40 yard dash time of 4.58. He can make his way into the back field in the blink of an eye and fly around the field. Shows great pursuit and could be one of the top linebackers in his class this coming up season.
