Quanell looked right home in the North Shore offense and he made the most of his opportunities when he was targeted. He is strong at the point of attack, he uses his violent hands to beat press coverage and he attacks the ball in flight with a purpose. He has the speed to get deep and he made several grabs in the secondary, blowing by defensive backs to make the catch. He is a dangerous weapon and the Mustangs look to keep him involved as the season goes on.

Hardeman Jr. looked like he was in midseason form tonight in the Mustangs 38-0 victory over South Oak Cliff in the game opener for both teams. He was able to find creases in the defense. He showed great patience, he ran with power and speed, showing burst between the tackles. His ability to make defenders miss in the open field enabled him to reach paydirt twice. Hardeman Jr. showed why is one of the top rushers in the state and he will be a key offensive weapon for the Mustangs this season.

Isom was a key cog in the Mustangs muscling their way through the South Oak Cliff defense. His ability to get his hands on defenders and pave the way led to multiple scores on the ground for North Shore. He is physical at the point of attack, he has a powerful punch and he finishes blocks through the whistle. Isom was a big reason that the North Shore ground game controlled the tempo throughout the contest. Isom is committed to the University of Louisiana.

Bailey looked sharp from the start. He was able to get outside the pocket and make pinpoint throws. Bailey made the most of the huge running lanes to break for a long touchdown run, showing off his wheels. You can expect more of his dual threat skills to keep the Mustangs running through defenses. Bailey showed that he is one the top quarterback prospects in the class of 2025 in Texas.
