St. John Bosco linebacker [player_tooltip player_id="25092" first="Andrew" last="Simpson"] announced his commitment to Boise State last week.
Simpson was originally committed to Kansas but withdrew his signing when the coaches who recruited him at Kansas were no longer with the program.
He was second on the Braves in tackles and tied for the team lead in sacks which earned him First Team All-Trinity League honors.
Simpson is the fifth player from California in Boise State’s 2021 recruiting class. He is the third defensive player from the state in the class, joining <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="25116" first="Marco" last="Notarainni"]</strong> (Torrey Pines) and <strong>Ahmed Hassanein</strong> (Loara).

Jackson State offered two class of 2022 stars from Lincoln High in San Diego this week.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="25238" first="Jalil" last="Tucker"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="141879" first="Jahlil" last="Florence"]</strong> were both offered by the HBCU.
Tucker is a receiver and defensive back who is one of the best athletes in the San Diego Section. Jackson State is the 23rd school to offer Tucker.
Florence is also a cornerback who recently took a trip to Washington’s spring football game. He also has a plethora of offers, including Oregon and Michigan.
Jackson State signed [player_tooltip player_id="25145" first="Herman" last="Smith"], a class of 2021 athlete from the Lincoln football team.

Inglewood class of 2022 cornerback <strong>Michael Sams</strong> committed to Wyoming this week.
Sams is just under 6-feet tall and is a 185-pound cornerback who had a good spring for Inglewood.
He is only the second player in the 2022 class to commit to Wyoming.
Sams had a great offseason during the pandemic on the 7-on-7 circuit.

Aliso Niguel tight end and defensive end <strong>Sky Ellis</strong> committed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this week.
Ellis is massive at 6-foot-6 and just under 250 pounds. He played better on the defensive side of the ball for the Wolverines this spring, tallying 10 tackles and a sack. He only caught one pass this spring season for 38 yards in the season finale against Capo Valley.
He is the cousin of former NFL running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
