Phillips delivered one of the biggest defensive plays of the night, intercepting an Erie pass and returning it 83 yards for a touchdown in Hickory’s 36–15 victory. He is a proven defensive playmaker and already had three interceptions on the season entering the game.

Jadon Phillips Jadon Phillips 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Hickory | 2027 State PA is an exciting prospect in the 2027 class. He is already committed to Kent State. Here is what I wrote about him earlier this year:

Jadon Phillips Jadon Phillips 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Hickory | 2027 State PA is a legit athlete in the 2027 class. He is a lockdown cornerback. When quarterbacks tested him, he usually made them play. He constantly made plays on the ball when it was thrown in his direction. He turned two of his four interceptions into touchdowns. Then, as a wide receiver, he shows elite speed to make defenders miss in the open field. Phillips recruitment has blown up with several Division One offers. His most recent offer is Albany. He has plenty of good options to choose from. Phillips deserves it as an elite athlete.
