Torio was another 2027 prospect who I was excited to see compete. He was a newer name to me, and like the players above showcased some elite speed, with a 4.85-40 Time, which ranked him tied for 7th in Warwick.

Torio was on the smaller side for a RB, but he is a quick athlete, who showcased elite feet and can move around well in space. He made a few good catches which I liked during the 1v1 potion, and is the definition of athletic. In space he moves really well, and can cover a ton of distance in a short time. He easily should be a RB to watch this season in Long Island, as Sachem East looks to take home the LI Championship.

Though undersized compared to some of the other backs, Carter used his low center of gravity to his advantage, staying balanced between transitions and changing direction effortlessly.

Once the ball was in his hands, Torio wasted little time getting north-south. He showed quick feet and an explosive first step coming out of the backfield. His ability to make decisive decisions allows him to find running lanes and turn small openings into productive gains.

Torio’s size concerned me coming into the showcase. I was proven wrong upon watching him. He was the 2nd best back of the day in my opinion. He’s got an athletic build, and he’s got really good footwork. Really quick feet. The one thing that really stood out to me was his ability to eat up space. He just flew up the field. Had a few nice catches in one on ones as well.
