[player_tooltip player_id='1136464' first='Christian' last='Gill'] is a really destructive force in the trenches for Theodore, he's brought a ton of juice to their defensive front the last two seasons and is set up for a big senior year this fall. Gill has been super productive against the run and pass, he has a dynamic skill set that allows him to consistently cause problems for opposing offenses no matter what they're attempting to do. Gill has an explosive first step off the line of scrimmage, tons of power, and overwhelms offensive linemen to get into the backfield to make plays. Gill does a great job closing up running lanes and pressuring the quarterback, he's a very disruptive player that makes his presence felt by offenses every time he takes the field. It was easy to see this last year as Gill had a big junior season where he racked up 70 total tackles (24 solo, 5 for loss), 2 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries. Keep an eye on Gill this fall, he's been a huge asset to this Theodore defense the last few years and is set up for a huge senior season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1087097' first='Desmond' last='Whitson'] is a super reliable linebacker that has been a huge asset to Oxford's defense, especially last fall. Whitson is a highly athletic and instinctual playmaker on defense who can do whatever his coaches ask of him. Whitson thrives off his versatility- he is terrific against the run, can blitz well, and even can make some good plays out in coverage as well. What is most impressive about Whtison's tape is how well he reads and reacts to what offenses are trying to do. Every snap he finds himself around the ball making an impact or opening up opportunities for his teammates too. Whitson is coming off a really solid junior season where he totaled 51 tackles (10 solo, 3 for loss) and 2 sacks on the year. Be sure to watch out for him this season as he is definitely going to be a player to watch on Oxford's defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131585' first='Dylan' last='Duster'] is a talented linebacker out of Huntsville who is coming off a huge junior season where he established himself as one of the leaders of their defense. Duster can do a ton defensively and is one of the most reliable tacklers I've watched recently. Duster is a dominant tackler that thrives off his ability to track and make tackles all across the field, regardless of where he initially lined up pre-snap. It comes to great use for him as he is a seriously gifted run defender- Duster consistently meets the ball carrier in gaps, behind the line of scrimmage, and in the open field when he has to. Duster had a really big junior season where he consistently made tackles all over the field- he ended the year with 81 total tackles (50 solo, one for loss) and one sack. Be sure to watch out for Duster and Huntsville's defense this fall, they're both set for big seasons and could be one of the top defenses in the state!

[player_tooltip player_id='1311449' first='Cadariyus' last='Love'] is a super-talented member of Andalusia's secondary that is coming off his best year yet as a starter. Love is a really skilled defensive back that has provided terrific coverage against some top-tier wide receivers over the last few years. Love plays with a ton of speed and physicality- he's quick to react, isn't baited easily, and makes wide receivers put in work to get past him at the line of scrimmage. Love also does a great job using his hands to make plays, he frequently picks off and breaks up bad passes from opposing quarterbacks, shutting down opposing passing attacks. Love was a force in the secondary all last season- he ended his junior campaign with 51 total tackles (40 solo, one for loss) and 6 interceptions. With how well he played last fall, Love is absolutely going to be a prospect to keep track of this season. Be sure to tune in, Andalusia has a ton of talent on defense and is set for a big year!
