The Wildcats reached the state quarterfinals last season with Knipper doing a lot of the heavy lifting. The junior ran for five scores, caught five touchdowns, delivered 67.0 tackles (8.5 TFL) and 2.5 sacks, recovered three fumbles and returned kicks. Knipper’s 11th-grade highlight video reveals an aggressive defender that makes plays in space and can lower the boom. Offensively, the quickness, explosiveness and physicality that work on defense translate well. Knipper would fit nicely as a safety in a lot of systems.
