On offense, he took 36 carries for 199 yards and four touchdowns to go with eight catches for 118 yards and a score. Defensively, his 48 tackles, eight TFLs and interception went a long ways for the Bulldogs last season.

This season, he’s the star of the show.

As a ball-carrier, Reineke has taken 69 carries for 683 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging just under ten yards per carry. Defensively, Reineke has been playing as if his hair is on fire. Second in 8-man in tackles, the senior has posted 71.5 tackles to go with 16.5 TFLs, tied for second in 8-man.

Operating on the eight-player level, it’s not hard projecting how Reineke would perform with 11 people on each side of the ball. We see a high-motor linebacker when watching his junior highlight video. He flies to the football, but does so with balance and control. The Bulldogs line him up on the middle of the defense’s second level, where he diagnoses what he sees and flows well to the football. While his strength is stopping the run, he’s athletic enough to run with opponents in coverage. Last season, Reineke recorded 48.0 tackles (31 solo, 8.0 TFL), 3.0 sacks and an interception. He also caught eight passes for 118 yards and a touchdown.
