Halloran splits time at WR and is one of few TE who can play outside. He is a contested catch expert and excels In racking up catches while covered. He is a solid blocker who has good hand placement and footwork. He can work on being more physical as a blocker. His best reps come from the TE position and he excels in 1v1 against LB’s.

Halloran is a solid prospect who has the needed tools to be a successful TE at the next level.

Halloran is one of the better contested catch tight ends in this class – he is on verge of 6’5 and has a solid vertical jump. He is one of the few prospects that gets split out wide and left 1v1 as a WR out wide for jump ball – he has strong hands and does some good things catching the ball against the sideline. Although he splits out wide I thought his best reps came from in-line TE or wing spot. He can beat LBs 1v1 athletically but on the outside he just wins with his size without much separation.

There are not a ton of blocking reps, in the few reps you see Halloran does a good job of staying square and not lounging for defenders, but would love to see more violence and punch from that initial contact.

Halloran has a clear TE archtype as a prospect who can stretch the field and win matchups with his length and movement skills vs LBs – the blocking is secondary to his game just like how there are limited reps on tape but he could end up adding strength and blocking technique to become a servicable blocker from the LOS.

Halloran is long at 6’4 and he is athletic for his length and age. Halloran moves well in space and is more of a flex-TE who can be involved in the passing game and stretch the field vertically.
