5 Potential Breakout Tight Ends in 2024

There, he'll be used as a lead blocker, slot receiver, and huge red zone target. His wingspan is excellent, giving him a huge catch radius for his quarterback. A two-sport athlete and standout on the baseball diamon, Hettwer's athletic profile makes him a potentially elite college prospect. He's still getting a feel for the tight end position, but his release is naturally solid and he displays soft hands when thrown to. This will be an interesting year for Easter as he could be a solid college prospect at either edge or tight end. He's able to catch the ball away from his body and keeps his momentum going through the catch, leading to big yards after the catch numbers. Like several of the guys on this list, he's a solid edge rusher as well, but his size and ball skills make him best at the right end position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
