Here we take a look at a few of those athletes who made a nice jump up the rankings board. Have a look with the Top 250 in it's entirety https://prepredzone.com/washington/rankings/2025-rankings/

[player_tooltip player_id='348155' first='Joseph' last='Fuavai'] 6-4 215 LB O'Dea

We recently talked on Fuavai and his off the charts potential. His offers from San Diego St and some of the military institutions could be just scratching the surface. His ability to run at 6-4 makes him an appealing recruit as he is able to play 2-3 different positions well at the highest level. O'Dea will have a lot of eyes on them which should also help on the recruiting front.

[player_tooltip player_id='693697' first='Chris' last='Hauss'] 6-4 255 DL Yelm

We've talked a lot on Hauss the last few seasons for a Yelm program which has gone 27-1 with a state title. He will be called upon to lead up front, along with the likes of 6-6 standout [player_tooltip player_id='928102' first='Jacob' last='Tracy'], after graduating such a special group.

[player_tooltip player_id='348164' first='Josiah' last='Paaga'] 6-0 180 ATH Kennedy Catholic

This kid has legit D1 speed. He earned 1st team all-conference honors as a sophomore and can play on either side of the ball equally well. Look for him to rarely leave the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='693768' first='Keagan' last='Howard'] 6-2 215 LB Lake Stevens

Give Howard a lot of credit, recently landing an offer from Idaho after helping the Vikings to another state title last season. He put up some ridiculous #s on defense with 120 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 3 sacks. He was also a key contributor on O making 19 catches for 255 yards and 4 TDs. He will likely continue to make significant jumps up the board.

[player_tooltip player_id='512680' first='Malakai' last='Sene Maiava'] 6-2 240 DE Goldendale

Look for Malakai to potentially make the biggest jump of any individual on this list. He comes from a football family and was dominant at multiple off-season camps last off season. He will be a POY candidate at the 1A level.

[player_tooltip player_id='945877' first='Isaiah' last='Oudman'] 6-3 205 LB/TE Lynden

The Eastern Washington TE commit is also an elite defender. At 6-3 with speed there isn't a lot he can't do. EWU did a good job locking this kid up and getting a commitment. He's a big reason Lynden is 33-4 over the last three seasons with multiple titles.

[player_tooltip player_id='348167' first='Levi' last='Webb'] 5-10 200 OLB/RB Skyview

As referenced Webb played out of position on the D line earning 1st team all GSHL honors. He will project as more of a LB collegiately, while potentially being a top RB in the 2025 class. Size is the biggest question mark.

[player_tooltip player_id='945875' first='Harrison' last='DeShazer'] 6-5 225 DE Washougal

This kid has continued to up his stock with an offer coming in from Idaho. For the 2nd year in a row Deshazer was one of the top athletes in the 2A GSHL. He finished with 14 catches for 195 yards and 6 TD's offensively, earning 1st team all-league honors. He also excelled on D with 34 tackles, helping Washougal to a 9-3 record.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136386' first='Taysean' last='Taylor'] 6-2 215 DE Newport

Taylor is undersized for a big man but earned 2nd team all-conference honors on both sides of the football, having a standout junior season on D, with 48 total tackles, 7 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks. From a projection standpoint a lot will depend on where they see him positionally.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136390' first='Johnny' last='O'Connor'] 6-0 225 OLB Bellevue

O'Connor has one of the quickest first steps of any D lineman, but plays out of position which makes it tough to project on him collegiately. He led the team in sacks and was a 40+ tackle guy with double digit tackles for loss. Defensively he is one of the best in Washington.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136403' first='Oliver' last='Farivar'] 5-11 170 DB Lake Washington

Farivar made 68 total tackles with double digit PBU's as a junior. He was one of the state's breakout athletes, also doing well on the camp circuit. The Kangaroos will feature one of the top secondaries in the conference.

[player_tooltip player_id='693762' first='Sunny' last='Nguyen'] 5-10 170 DB/ATH Tumwater

One of the most versatile athletes in the state. Ngyuen was exceptional at Tumwater after making the transfer from Timberline HS where he earned all-conference honors as a sophomore. Watch the film as he only knows one speed.
