He has good throwing mechanics and can deliver a very good deep ball with plenty of velocity, spin and consistently throws his receivers open across the field. Franklin recently transferred to Bullard from Clovis West where he had a very nice sophomore season last fall. His arm strength, precision in the deep and intermediate levels and ability to make plays with his feet make him a very intriguing prospect for the next level along with him continuing to grow and pack on weight to his long frame. Franklin will be one of the top passers across the valley this Fall and is a name to note within the quarterback conversations. He displays a calm and collected pocket presence while feeling pressure quickly and knows when to step up while not afraid to take a shot to get the ball downfield. Under pressure, he shows he can roll out and throw across his body without losing much zip on the ball and is a quick processor that moves defenders with his eyes and can throw accurate intermediate throws as well. The lefty passer is a very high IQ kid that quickly processes defenses, moves defensive backs with his eyes and delivers a good ball with zip on in at the first two levels. Kenney shows that he can feel pressure well off the edge before stepping up, navigate through traffic while keeping his eyes downfield and throws a tight spiral with a quick delivery.
