X Film Room Evaluation – Pt.7

With that being said, here are five prospects to watch in 2024:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1331928' first='Heden' last='Singleton'] is an athlete who can play multiple positions including safety, defensive back and wide receiver. He demonstrates solid awareness in the secondary, coupled with solid read-and-react ability. This enables him to effectively read plays and attack downhill against the run, maintaining good angles. He displays a quick break on the ball, demonstrating solid change of direction and lateral agility, positioning himself to force PBUs. </p>   <p>Note - 3.6 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/hedensingleton6/status/1803563443137454505 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1331932' first='Samuel' last='Davis'] is explosive off the edge, causing havoc in the backfield. Off the snap, he displays good pad level, hand placement, lower body power, and UOH to create leverage and instantly shed blocks to make plays in the backfield. Constantly putting pressure into the pocket with the ability to speed rush, speed-to-power or bull rush effectively. Underrated prospect with the strength and motor you want off the edge. </p>   <p>Note - 4.0 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/SamuelDavis4434/status/1811956714301755896 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1331934' first='Desmond' last='Gooding Jr']. is an elusive running back with good foot quickness and athleticism. Gooding Jr. is a threat on the outside, showcasing solid vision, lateral agility, and the ability to change direction quickly. His lateral agility and COD allow him to create running lanes from nothing or find the cutback lane effectively. You can utilize him in the screen game or short to intermediate passing game as he can become a YAC threat due to solid up field burst and change of direction as well. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DJG2026/status/1798917913560453508 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1331930' first='Glenn' last='Barnes'] is another athlete who has the ability to play multiple positions including defensive back and wide receiver. Displays good read and react ability along with good change of direction and lateral agility, allowing him to read the quarterback's eyes and diagnose plays, arriving at the catch point to force a PBU. Doesn't allow much room for separation off breaks due to solid hip fluidity and speed in the secondary, coupled with solid open-field tackling and notable ball-tracking abilities. Smooth route runner and a YAC threat, due to his elusiveness, lateral agility, change of direction, and burst, enabling him to make sharp cuts or accelerate up field quickly. </p>   <p>Note - 3.5 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Iamglennbarnes/status/1801377205215498600 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1283002' first='Austin' last='Riggs'] is a dynamic wide receiver due to his athleticism, quickness, body control and good hands. You can position him inside at the slot or Z. Riggs displays good route running with leverage awareness to find the soft spot between zone defenders. Showcases good hand-eye coordination, body control and balance along with strong hands to catch vs contest, adjust mid-route or go up and get the 1v1 jump ball, making himself a true Red Zone threat.
