Boca Raton Could Be A Surprise In 2021

Don’t look now, but the Bobcats of Boca Raton are starting to make some noise. Located right across the street from Florida Atlantic University, this program has long produced some quality athletes who have gone on to the next level. The optimism for the spring is soaring after a 6-1 record and a Silver Division 8A Tri-County championship in the pandemic-shortened season under head coach <strong>David Angell.</strong> Losing only to rival Delray Beach Atlantic, who won the 7A Tri-County title, the Bobcats went on to post victories over Boynton Beach (20-7), Boca Raton Olympic Heights (42-2), West Boca Raton (41-7), Coral Springs (28-13), Coral Gables (34-0) and Palm Beach Gardens (24-17). As they head toward spring it’s the rising senior class (2022) that figures to impact this team.
