Recruiting Report- Recent Commitments Across the State!

Miller is an explosive threat downfield, he has a ton of speed and acceleration, some great footwork, and runs terrific routes that allow him to separate from defensive backs consistently. Miller is also able to track the ball and make difficult catches all around the field, it's really impressive watching how well he's able to adjust and bring the ball in despite heavy coverage. Miller had a really productive season last fall, throughout the year he recorded 55 catches for 814 yards and 5 touchdowns! With how well he's played and produced throughout his career, Miller has received offers from a lot of really good programs. Johnson had been committed to Alabama for a while but recently opened his recruitment back up and flipped to a new school! Johnson has a ton of talent- he's a super instinctual linebacker that can fight through blocks, make tackles, and bring an impact every snap. As a running back, Johnson utilizes his speed, vision, and physicality a ton by outrunning and plowing through defenders at each level of the field. With the talent he presents, Johnson has become a highly sought-after prospect. After picking up offers from tons of top-tier programs across the nation, Johnson decided to take his commitment to Florida! Drammeh is explosive in the trenches and is a huge playmaker against both the run and pass. At 6'2 285, Drammeh has a great build with some surprising speed and pursuit skills at his size. Drammeh can completely overwhelm offensive lines- he frequently finds ways to beat blocks and make plays no matter what opposing offenses are doing. Drammeh has some very impressive strength, power, pursuit, and physicality that allow him to be a constant factor for Hoover's defense front. Since last fall, Drammeh has picked up a bunch of offers from programs all over, consistently building up his offer sheet. Heading into his senior season, Smiley is a destructive defensive lineman who has made play after play for his defense throughout his career. Smiley is super well-rounded and can impact games in multiple ways- he's a fantastic pass rusher, provides great run defense off the edge, and can even make some plays out in coverage when asked to drop back. One of the most impressive things I saw on tape from Smiley was his pass-rushing skills- he has a bunch of moves he uses to his advantage and what stood out to me was watching him utilize his bend with his rip move. Smiley can get extremely low to the ground while still maintaining the same speed and aggression, which frequently puts offensive linemen on their rears and allows him to impact the quarterback. In the last week, Smiley pledged his commitment to South Alabama- giving them talented defensive linemen for their 2025 class!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
