He showed future D1 potential at that time with his size, strength and quickness to get off the ball, shed blocks, fill the gap and make plays. He made the move to playing offensive line along with DE and was a natural at OT. His quick feet, long arms and aggressiveness he brought over from playing D-Line was a natural fit. He's a nice pickup for the Hawkeyes with all the tools their program needs to develop him. I watched him dominate on the JV level with his explosiveness and motor he used to blow up plays and get to the quarterback. He uses his hands well, has good speed, a quick first step and good technique. Abram has trained hard to develop his skills and physicality. His mindset and drive to be his best and succeed have been impressive and he never stopped working and competing against the best to better himself. Triston had 66 tackles and 6 sacks as a junior. Robby has the frame to get bigger and play TE or be a big receiver with his hands, route running ability and speed. He ran a 4.7 laser forty at the Lindenwood Mega camp earlier this month. I also like what I have seen from him at linebacker with his high school team as a sideline to sideline defender who can also pass cover. It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility for him to play the EDGE if that was needed. The Wildcats will put him at the right spot and he will be productive. Lance keep his speed, agility and athleticism he had as a RB and showed he was a college prospect with his playmaking ability on defense. He's strong, physical, loves to hit, is quick, can rush the passer or drop in pass coverage. As a junior he had 86 tackles and 4 sacks with 1 INT. Walker choose Arkansas State over Indiana, Boston College, Memphis and others. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1123367' first='Quincy' last='Byas'] DE<br>De Smet<br>6'2" 230<br>Committed to: Eastern Michigan <br>- The latest D1 defensive line prospect to come from the De Smet Spartans program. Quincy has been one of the top pass rushers in the St. Louis area the past two years racking up 26 sacks as a sophomore and junior. He is super quick off the edge and is shot out of a cannon fast and with his motor makes himself tough for high school offensive tackles to handle. His is skilled with his pass rushing but is a complete DE/EDGE prospect who plays tough against the run as well and can also drop in coverage. Last season Quincy had 51 tackles, 12 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries and 2 interceptions. He choose Eastern Michigan over Kent State, Indiana, Army, Northern Illinois, Harvard and others. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
