is a great athlete who has the size and speed that makes him a difference maker. His ability to catch the ball and make defenders miss is special. He also has the speed to run by defenders trying to defend him. Portis so far has no offers but has recently visited Fordham. Portis is a rare athlete who can do almost anything on the football field. He should be in line to get an offer at some point this off-season. I can see Portis playing as a wide receiver or as a defensive back at the next level. College coaches will eventually see his ability.
Looking forward to being @FORDHAMFOOTBALL tomorrow. Thank you @Ryangreenhagen1 for the invite. Excited to see how @CoachPetrarca receivers work. @Coach_Conlin @ArtAsselta @theking1 @LIGSportsGroup @kouniverse_ @PAPrepsRivals @PAELITE7v7 @NextLevelAtFit @WPIAL_Insider… pic.twitter.com/9n5dw28ZCs

6’2, 180 pounds out of East Allegheny, repping PAElite’s 18U Black team. I was able to watch Portis and company work on both days, with the junior wideout leading the team as its main target.
Portis stuck out like a sore thumb, his build making him an ideal candidate for posts and corners downfield. PAElite QBs were content with dumping off balls to others within ten yards of the LOS, yet if they wanted to test DBs downfield or attempt to convert on long down-and-distance situations, Portis was their answer. Witnessed Portis score on three different occasions, good separator when he has a chance to open up his stride. Soft hands. This was the first chance I’ve had to see Portis up close, he didn’t disappoint.

Currently ranked as a top-five junior wideout in a weak wide receiver class. 6’2, 180 pounds. 3.5 GPA.
Question I want Answered: Will Portis’s recruiting be re-sparked post offer?
Recieved an offer from Brennan Marion and company back in early 2024, this from UNLV. Things have been relatively quiet ever since. Portis has still performed well, earning an FBS/FCS grade post-junior tape release. I want to put Portis under a microscope to learn whether or not Portis can reclaim recruiting hype. Watching how he separates, watching him some route-run up close, seeing his 6’2 frame move, this should alleviate any previous concerns.
Jr season film. Great year working on the craft of playing WR. Time to get back in the lab. @CoachCortazzo @CoachB_EA_OC @theking1 @LIGSportsGroup @210ths @NextLevelAtFit @PAELITE7v7 @PA_TodaySports @PrepRedzonePA @PAPrepsRivals @sixstarfootball https://t.co/oLC5IeM0tu

is a difference-maker at wide receiver for East Allegheny. He has elite wide receiver skills. He shows off good speed and he is able to run by defenders. He is also good after the catch. Portis shows good hands and, in particular, catches the ball well in traffic. He also has a great combination of size (6’3 inches) and speed for a wide receiver. He recently visited Kent State, and I expect he get more visits and some offers coming his way soon.
