Just a note about these rankings if players list themselves on twitter or HUDL as a 2026 in Canada and 2027 for the USA I tend to put them in the 2026 rankings because these only include players playing in Canada. If a player only lists 1 grad year they are put into that year's rankings.

If a player has already announced a transfer to a USA prep school he is not included in these rankings as they just include players who have played and are continuing to play in Canada – however there will be content on plenty of the quality Canadian players who currently play or plan to play in the States.

Smith was the clear number #1 DB when you look at the tape in my eyes. His overall athleticism standouts on tape and he shows really fluid hips as he transitions from his backpedal. You see good twitch and burst when he changes direction and overall has really good movement skills for the position.

Where he separates himself is the ball skills, the ability to turn and locate the ball is there on tape and you also see good finish through the catch point. Has one of the more complete skillsets for any DB in this class. There is some solid positional versatility as well with the ability to play corner inside or on the boundary.

[player_tooltip player_id='1299844' first='Sadraque' last='Mambuco'] - Mambuco has the ideal frame for the corner position at 6'1 185 and when you watch the tape you see a lot of intriguing traits. Mambuco is a willing tackler coming downhill and overall showcases solid long speed and quick movements. He shows some special teams value as a returner.

[player_tooltip player_id='1028046' first='Jorel' last='Sahay'] - Sahay another Clarkson North defensive back is a solid DB prospect that shows good ball tracking skills and the ability to finish at the catch point. Sahay shows solid man coverage skills and has tape both in press man and man coverage where he reads the quarterback well and is able to make plays on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1287747' first='Ryder' last='Frampton'] - Frampton is more of a safety prospect than a true corner prospect and he shows solid range and ball skills from the safety position. Frampton reads the quarterback and route concepts well and does a good job impacting the catch point.

[player_tooltip player_id='1184289' first='Sam' last='Opanubi'] - Opanubi who plays safety for St. Paul's shows solid instincts on tape and the ability to play a single high safety role with good range. A solid player in coverage who flashes the ability to come down hill and make plays in the box.

[player_tooltip player_id='1299932' first='Camden' last='Kerr'] - Kee who plays for G.W. Graham in BC plays in a free safety role that leaves him as the last defender in many reps on tape. He is a willing tackler and shows good tackling technique in space with the ability to break down and wrap up guys. A two-way player I think his length and hitting ability make him a slightly better DB prospect.
