Parker has great instincts and is a sound tackler. He is seemingly always around the ball and possesses excellent vision. Tyler has good hands and plays with solid football intuition. He has great awareness and concentration. He uses his hands well and his read and reaction timing is on point. He has great form when he tackles. Because of the late transfer, he did not have much time to acclimate himself to his surroundings but in the few appearances he made for Maryvale, he showed to be an excellent shutdown corner. He has fluid hips and displayed good range. He changes direction with ease and can track down the ball well. He played his whole sophomore season on JV, however he has been invited to several prospect camps this offseason.
