There's no other place to start than with the Grimsley quarterback, a guy who has been on our radar for a while and is now garnering national attention. Some have even called him the best player in the country in his class. You wouldn't think touch would be a huge part of a 6-foot-4, almost 200-pounder's game, but even more than the excellent arm strength is his ability to layer throws in between defenders. It's simply a question of how good he can become.

A true dual-threat quarterback, Witherspoon has game-breaking speed and the ability to make defenders miss in the open field. As a passer, he has a strong arm and the ability to make throws into tight windows. He hasn't been asked to throw a full route tree or do too much in the realm of reading defenses, but the talent he's shown so far is intriguing.

Crawford transferred from Glenn High School to West Forsyth in the offseason and has just recently popped up on our radar. He has a strong arm over the middle of the field and throws well outside the numbers as well. Last season he didn't have many open windows to throw into, but could have a better time as a junior.

Kemp's footwork really impresses me, especially on RPO concepts. He has a strong arm and while it can get wayward at times, overall his accuracy is solid. While he's a decent runner, he's best as a pocket passer and his poise under pressure is excellent. A strong junior season will put him in position to be among the top quarterbacks in the state.
