<p>The Kansas Jayhawks received a verbal commitment from one of the best athletes from the Kansas Eight-Man ranks. Schmelzle is a versatile athlete who could play quarterback, receiver, or defensive back for the Jayhawks. The Axtell prospect has explosive speed and pulled the trigger early in his school of choice.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442660' first='Carter' last='Pabst'],</strong> WR, 6'1”, 180, Eisenhower, ‘25</p>

<p>Pabst is ranked No. 19 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025. He announced his commitment to the University of North Dakota. Pabst caught 51 balls last fall for 893 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Fighting Hawks continue to recruit the state of Kansas hard and have added a solid pass catcher in Pabst.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='198040' first='Will' last='Morgan']</strong>, OL, 5'11”, 245, Blue Valley Southwest, ‘25</p>

<p>Morgan is a physical lineman. He participated in a camp at Nebraska Wesleyan last week and walked away with an offer to play for the Prairie Wolves. He also has an offer from Oklahoma Baptist after attending a camp in May. Morgan is currently ranked No. 124 overall by Prep Redzone and is the No. 13 ranked offensive lineman.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='442345' first='Jesmar' last='Molina'],</strong> ATH, 5'7”, 140, Syracuse, ‘25</p>

<p>Molina is an exciting and intriguing Western Kansas prospect. He played quarterback for the Bulldogs in his junior season and could also play other positions. He has an offer from Sterling College in his pocket and will be attending a camp at Bethel in July. Molina is ranked No. 314 by Prep Redzone and will look to parlay a solid offseason to climb the rankings and receive more college offers.</p>

<p>Watson is currently an unranked athlete, but look for him to be added to the rankings in July. He attended the same camp as Morgan and received an offer from the Prairie Wolves coaching staff. He finished with 23 total tackles last season in an injury-shortened season. He has also attended camps hosted by William Jewell and Washburn.</p>

<p>A third Kansas prospect traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska, and returned to the Sunflower State with an offer from Nebraska Wesleyan. Johnson plays center for the Piper Pirates and is a long snap specialist.</p>
