With his taller frame and high ceiling, Arjay Blackwell Arjay Blackwell 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL GA has all the physical tools to become a dominant force up front. He showed the versatility to line up both inside and on the edge, consistently finding different ways to beat offensive linemen. Whether it was overpowering blockers with a bull rush or flashing a lethal spin move to create pressure, Arjay’s pass rush arsenal stood out throughout the day. Making the trip to New Jersey proved to be well worth it for this Georgia native, as he left the event with plenty of well earned recognition.

One of the more high school-ready bodies along the defensive line belonged to Arjay Blackwell. With an Atlanta Regional MVP to his name already, Blackwell’s success begins with his stance. His stance allows him to generate power and explosion. Still just a 7th grader, Blackwell was dominating, physically, with the bull rush. Should I get the opportunity to see him compete against, I hope to see an expanded arsenal of moves to Blackwell’s weaponry.

Arjay Blackwell – I didn’t provide enough fanfare on socials surrounding this 2031 prospect out of Georgia. I assumed this young man was a 2030 based on his size and performance. Was shocked to learn he’s a year younger than most offensive and defensive linemen present. Carried arguably the best build of any defensive lineman present. Kudos to whoever is training and developing this young man down south. Had he won a few more reps, he would have been in the D-line MVP consideration pool. Still managed to name him First Team All Camp. You can see several winning reps out of him in the video above. I won’t speak on future recruitment for him. I’m unfamiliar with how recruiting operates down south concerning underclassmen and middle school prospects. I will say, if he was a Northeast prospect, he would already be earning Power Four interest as a 2031.

I believe with his ability, skills and strength, he’s going to have a great showing at one of the top events in the Country, the “RIZE” in New Jersey. I look forward to hearing about all the standout things he will do.

Arjay Blackwell Arjay Blackwell 6'1" | 225 lbs | DL GA is a talent that I have been very high on from the 2032 class off of the defensive line and with great size and ability, Blackwell showed and proved to everyone that he was there to make plays and that’s what he did in this camp setting in a loaded offensive and defensive group. He has great size and can use not just strength and size but using his hands and feet along with some quickness and twitchy moves is what was impressive to me!
