5 Prospects Raising Their Stock at Camps

Camp season is one of my favorite times of the year. Talking season is over, meaning it is time for these prospects to get directly in front of college coaches and show what they're capable of. During this part of the calendar, players become prospects. Here are 5 guys having themselves an impressive camp season.    [player_tooltip player_id='1296764' first='Sichan' last='John'] recently camped at UGA and walked away with an offer, instantly flying onto the radar nationally. John is a 6'3 300 game wrecker. His play strength is simply too much for his level of competition. He will have to adjust to the speed of the game at the college level, but his explosiveness off the snap and ability to manipulate with his hands should immediately carry over. For a big guy, his pursuit skills are top-notch, which is what elevates his game to another level. College programs are going to place more of a premium on IDL prospects going forward, and John can be a people-pusher from several different alignments.     Similar to [player_tooltip player_id='1296764' first='Sichan' last='John'], [player_tooltip player_id='1296761' first='Josiah' last='Victor'] played well enough at UGAs camp to earn an offer from the Bulldogs. Victor might not have the length that other DL prospects in the class have, but he has the play strength needed to press blockers onto their heels. He also consistently sheds blocks by re-firing his hands and maintains max effort throughout the play. Against the run, he pinpoints and tracks the ball carrier nicely and travels to his landmarks confidently, navigating chaos well and not getting washed out of the play. He is already strong, but he has the room to easily eclipse 300 pounds while maintaining his athleticism. His upside is high, and the best coaches in the country are taking notice.     [player_tooltip player_id='1247342' first='Jamarian' last='Pullum'] is one of the better prospects in the NWGA area, and he is finally reaping the rewards on the recruiting trail this camp season. Pullum is a 6'2 185 fluid mover that runs like a deer in space. He frequently takes handoffs from the QB on sweeps designed to get him on the outside. He eats space with his strides, allowing him to build away from defenders as he tries to catch the corner and when he breaks through the secondary. He is more of a strider, but absolutely possesses the plant strength to jump across the face of would-be tacklers. Pullum is viewed as an ATH and could easily project as either a WR or a DB.     As it stands now, [player_tooltip player_id='1299060' first='Shane' last='King'] could be one of the bigger sleeping giants on the recruiting trail in this class. King transferred into Gainesville from Texas and has generated enough buzz this offseason to add some FBS offers. P4 schools should be next in line. King is 6'4 210 and is a basketball/track athlete. He is an absolute acrobat, effortlessly climbing the latter and making difficult catches while in awkward body positions. If he sticks at TE, his YAC ability in the flat could break the game. He is an effortless mover and absorbs contact in the open field. King has instantly become one of my favorite prospects in the 2025 class, and I think it's a matter of time before he pops his first P4 offer. He is simply an elite athlete with spectacular playmaking ability.     When comparing his spring tape to previous clips, Aiden Parker looks like a completely different prospect, starting to fill into his 6'3 215 frame and possessing the combination of athleticism and mass to dominate at DE. Other schools are starting to notice, and a recent offer from Georgia State is proof of that. Parker is a violent football player. He has an efficient pull rush, driving into the chest of blockers and firing his feet to collapse the pocket around the QB. He works off blocks with his effort, slapping with his hands and wearing out his opposition. He has some finesse as well, proving capable of shooting off the shoulder of blocks and spinning to redirect toward the running lane. He might not have the bend to be a consistent threat as a pass rusher, but he plays with hot pursuit skills. Parker is only getting better and I believe P4 offers are on the horizon.
