A team in Illinois that has 2025s to know at QB, OL, and DB all at one stop is Rochelle Township. Let’s dive into the tape and shine the spotlight on what these five athletes have to offer the next level. Let’s get started!
One of the top two way athletes in IL is the safety/RB out of Rochelle Township. Grant has a great base of athleticism that has allowed him to make big plays on both sides of the ball. At safety, Grant is able to roam the field because of that speed but also because of a high level of awareness as he reads the QB. Grant has ball skills to create turnovers when he gets the chance. Plus you can count on him to attack downhill against the run and deliver hard, play stopping tackles. The standout athlete has also been an effective return man. In big part because of his ability to see the field. A trait that has made him a viable option as an RB too. Grant has a lot to offer the next level. Dive into this highlights.

Carson Lewis
Carson Lewis
Carson is not afraid to rip the ball downfield looking for the big play. He has several highlights from 2023 showing an arm that can get the ball 30+ yards downfield while hitting his target right in stride. The 6′ 190 lbs QB uses clean, efficient mechanics to get as much into the ball as he can to make those aggressive throws. His touch and ball placement jumps off the tape too. You can’t make the throws Carson does without the control over the ball that he has. I think Carson will surprise teams this summer on the camp circuit. Keep an eye out for him.
Xavier is a very accomplished wrestler in the offseason and that physicality and knowledge of leverage shows up out on the perimeter. Despite being undersized, Xavier does a great job holding this own. He is able to take on blocks, shed and make effective tackles in space. Xavier clearly understands how to use leverage and body positioning to win those scenarios. It will be fun watching Xavier’s recruitment as the three time state wrestling qualifier may have a future on the mat as well. Check out his film.

Ryan Senne
Despite being 5’11” 200 lbs, Ryan was a key contributor on the OL and DL for Rochelle Township. His future home would most likely be at LB at the next level. Translatable traits show up in his play at OL and DL for the LB position. Ryan has an explosive burst off the line and effective short area agility to avoid blocks. He plays with the physicality needed in the front seven to set the tone. Ryan is a sleeper to watch.
Kaiden is now up to 235 lbs and becoming a real problem for defenses in the run game. He excels at pulling and leading out in space. He is agile and able to deliver blocks out in space that spring a lot of big plays. Kaiden is another successful wrestler on this roster and the natural leverage instincts again show up on tape as he gets under defenders and drives them off the ball or gets them off balance and puts them into the dirt. While on the move, Kaiden also does a great job of picking up the most dangerous man in pursuit. Don’t sleep on the 2025 OL. He will need time to fill out his frame, but the mentality, physicality, and leverage use are strong pillars to build on.
