Kendarius Spence Kendarius Spence 5'8" | 145 lbs | TE/EDGE Lanett | 2027 State AL is a key piece of Lannet’s defense, providing terrific play at LB for them all of last season against the run and pass. Although slightly undersized, Spence more than makes up for it with his understanding of opposing offenses and his assignments. He is a terrific run defender- and a lot of that is due to his play-recognition skills. Spence is excellent at reading and reacting to plays, leading to some great run fits for his defense- he consistently meets RBs in the gap and wraps them up, consistently making tackles at and behind the line of scrimmage for his defense. Spence can also be used as a blitzer, he does a great job coming downhill and generates great pressure on the opposing QB, leading them into bad decisions his teammates can capitalize off of. Be sure to watch Spence next season, he’s got a lot of potential and has already put together some great film you can watch below!
