Standing at 6’4″ 285 pounds, Kaufman displays an excellent build for a Defensive lineman. He missed multiple games in his Junior Season but still led the Red Devils in sacks with five.

He projects as a hybrid EDGE and DL who can play anywhere on the line. He has good athleticism and a quick first step. He displays a good understanding of leverage and shows good body control with fluid hips which is used to bed around tackles and create a size mismatch on guards.

The Section Six prospect is a physical prospect who will look to build of his Junior Season for Clarence this fall.

Kaufman is blessed with ideal size and sound awareness. His read-and-react timing is amazing and can diagnose plays as good as anyone. His high motor and amazing closing speed is a nightmare for opposing offenses.
