The Power 4 offers are piling in. You name a school and they more than likely have Gidron on their short list of wide receivers wants for 2026. He has great size, runs precise routes, and catches everything that comes near him. He’s just scratching the surface of his potential. He’s going to be a matchup problem for anyone on the Blazers schedule.

If Gidron is the top ranked receiver in the 2026 Class, Murph might be 1B. The Power 4 schools are all over Murph as well. He can play on the slot or outside and not many defensive backs on the high school level can keep with Murph. He and

For the second season in a row, Gantt has been a workout wonder at the Carolina Coaches Combine series. At the Woodland Combine, he won overall MVP, Fastest 40, Best Broad Jump and Best Vertical. He has a new head coach, but speed and athleticism will be key for Gantt to put up huge numbers.

Jenkins (pictured) does a lot of things well. It’s no surprise he is a basketball standout as well. He’s been playing at the varsity level since his freshman season. He can turn a quick screen or slant into six points quickly. If he gets a step on the defender, forget about it.

Torrean Davis Torrean Davis 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR Spartanburg | 2026 State SC Spartanburg
Davis is another long and rangy receiver in this class. He should be a huge downfield threat for the Vikings. He was limited due to injury last season but could be a huge boost to the offense this season.
Kaleb Berry Kaleb Berry 6'2" | 180 lbs | WR Dreher | 2026 State SC Dreher
Berry runs well in traffic and can use his size to separate from defenders. He’s a great route-runner and once he gets a step on you, good luck catching him. Berry will win more jump balls than he loses.
Jaiden Taylor

They call Taylor “Speedy” if that tells you anything. Taylor has a knack for the big-play as evident by his 10 receiving touchdowns last season. He also added a rushing TD last season. So don’t let the size fool you, Taylor is a threat waiting to happen.
Rayvon Green

Shamil Saadiq Shamil Saadiq 6'3" | 190 lbs | WR Lugoff-Elgin | 2026 State SC Lugoff-Elgin
Saadiq should find more opportunities this season with a new coaching staff in place. He uses his larger frame well and wins the jump ball passes when needed. He lines up on the outside but can play through contact as needed.
Daylin Haltiwanger Daylin Haltiwanger 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Hammond | 2026 State SC Hammond
Haltiwanger could see his stock skyrocket this season. He’s got great size, hands and quickness. Even though Hammond won the Class 4A SCISA state championship, they were mainly unsettled at quarterback most of the season. A change there and Haltiwanger could have a monster season.
FIVE DARK HORSE CANDIDATES
Hayden Morris
Hayden
Morris
6'0" | 175 lbs | WR
Ridge View | 2026
State
SC
Ridge View
Morris is a transfer from Indian Land and should fit right in with the Blazers pass happy offense. He’s got the size and intangibles to be a great compliment to Gidron. He has great leaping ability and can run by defenders when needed. He scored 10 touchdowns and had over 850 yards receiving.
Jon Kelly Jon Kelly 6'2" | 200 lbs | WR Myrtle Beach | 2026 State SC Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach will have multiple receivers that can cause trouble for opposing defenses. Kelly is tall and physical. He’s bigger than most slot receivers so he’s able to line up there and find mismatches in the secondary.
Jocorreun Howze Lewisville
Howze caught 26 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore and he will be more of a vocal point of the Lions attack this season. He’s shifty and can take a short pass the distance. Howze also does a great job at creating separation.
