Check out these 3 unoffered defensive linemen who I would offer immediately if you handed me the keys to the program.
Pierre Allen Jr Pierre Allen Jr 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Lincoln Southeast | 2025 State NE | Lincoln Southeast | 6’2″ 215 lbs | Twitter | Hudl
This is one of the more surprising names to see still waiting on their first offer. Lincoln Southeast’s Pierre Allen Jr Pierre Allen Jr 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Lincoln Southeast | 2025 State NE has proven to be one of the class’s top defensive linemen since he first broke onto the scene as a freshman. The destructive Knight’s defender has accumulated over 150 tackles in his career with 5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries in that time. One thing that really stands out about Pierre Allen is his versatility. He can play with his hand in the dirt or be lined up as a standing EDGE rusher, ready to get after the quarterback. Great speed and quickness paired with aggressiveness and physicality that you love to see from your DE/EDGE rushers. Several D1 programs have shown interest in Pierre, including the hometown Huskers, but the first offer is yet to hit the table. Get on this guy ASAP!!
Jack Jansen Jack Jansen 6'2" | 225 lbs | DL Bennington | 2025 State NE | DL/OL | Bennington | 6’3″ 240 lbs | Twitter | Hudl
Jack is a player I would’ve offered following his sophomore season after a dominant year on the offensive line as he helped the Badgers to a state championship. Fast forward to his junior year, where Jack was asked to switch to the defensive side of the ball as their focal point on the defensive line and did not miss a beat. Jack’s presence on the interior DL was undeniable as he racked up 80 tackles, 9 TFLs, 2 sacks, and a fumble recovery. Jack’s mix of power, explosiveness, and agility have made him one of the more feared defenders in the 2025 class. Add in that Jansen comes from a powerhouse program like Bennington and you know you’re getting a polished, well-coached prospect.
Harrison Smith Harrison Smith 6'2" | 210 lbs | DL Waverly | 2025 State NE | Waverly | 6’3″ 210 lbs | Twitter | Hudl
Harrison is easily one of the more exciting defensive linemen to watch on tape. His nonstop motor and intensity pop on the screen with big play after big play. Harrison does an excellent job maintaining and defending the edge, shutting down outside running lanes to his side of the field. He can also use his quick get-off to beat blockers off the ball and his ability to shed blocks to apply pressure on opposing quarterbacks. Smith is flying under the radar currently but should change that if he has a solid showing at camps this summer.
