Mantrez Walker Mantrez Walker 6'1" | 210 lbs | LB Buford | 2025 State GA – LB – Buford
One of the top linebacker prospects not only in Gwinnett County, but across Georgia for the 2025 class, this quick-reacting, hard-hitting linebacker was a tackling machine for the mighty Buford Wolves for the past few seasons. He’s quick, active, shows good pursuit of the ball carrier, and knows how to deliver a big hit behind his pads when he gets there. At 6-foot-1 225-pounds, Walker has held major D1offers since the beginning of his high school career, and now he’s made a commitment to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. A leader and one of the better defenders on a loaded Buford Wolves defense, Walker reads the run well, sheds blocks, and is one of the more consistent tacklers in the region. He’s a tough, physical linebacker looking to make an early impact in Boulder when he gets to campus in 2025. As a junior last year, Walker made 54 tackles, but more are likely on the way in 2024 as a senior.
Hayden Bradley – TE – Buford
A promising pass-catching tight end who showed last fall that he can be a nightmare to cover over the middle and down the field, Bradley brings excellent size and athleticism at 6-foot-5 215-pounds. The sure-handed pass-catcher out of Buford held an impressive offer list, but several days ago Bradley decided to end his recruitment and commit to the Ole Miss Rebels over schools like Miami, South Carolina, Duke, Penn State, Utah, and Georgia Southern, among others. He’s one of the best tight end prospects in Georgia, and now he’s headed to play in the SEC. As a junior last fall, Bradley was a dependable weapon in the Buford passing game, leaping in the air and plucking the ball away from defenders with ease. He plays with good balance, the ability to run after the catch, and natural big-play ability. Look for him to be an easy option for the Wolves offense again next fall.
Antoine Deslauriers – LB – Rabun Gap
A Canada native who has made his mark in the North Georgia mountains at Rabun-Gap, Deslauriers is a dependable linebacker who loves contact and has really grown as a player over time. He moved down to Georgia to turn heads on the gridiron, and it worked as offers started coming his way after a strong junior season. Now, this sure-tackling defender has made a commitment to Fran Brown and the Syracuse Orange. The 6-foot-1 230-pounds is built well physically with a muscular frame and impressive natural instincts against the run. He fights off blocks with ease and has no problem chasing down the ball-carrier from behind. As a junior last fall, Deslauriers made 72 tackles, 18 TFLs, two sacks, three INTs and two forced fumbles. He was all over the field and showed a true nose for the ball. He consistently found his way to the ball and showed natural playmaking ability, making tackle after tackle in the backfield all season long. His best football is way ahead of him, and that’s great news for Syracuse.
