There can only be one MVP for each position. However, there was a lot of talent that showed up yesterday. We were able to see some young guys really put on a show.

[player_tooltip player_id='402104' first='Teryn' last='Green']

Green is a wide receiver from Warren Central that was impressive yesterday. He was showing off that he is a dominant receiver. Green also has some fluent movements during drills. He is a player that I recommend we keep our eyes on for the rest of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258774' first='Rabe' last='Crosby']

Crosby is a defensive back from Northwest Rankin that we like. He is a 6-foot, 170-pound that has some good cover skills. Yesterday, he was able to show off those skills in man-to-man coverage. If you watch his film, you will see that he also does a good job in zone coverage. He is not a guy that you are going to catch out of position too many times.

[player_tooltip player_id='1136446' first='Xavier' last='Thomas']

Thomas is one of the best linebackers in the 2026 class for the state of Mississippi. He is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound guy from Northside that does a great job of being a solid linebacker. Thomas was on point yesterday. He moves well and he knows how to cover. We saw what we needed to see from him. All he needs to do is work hard this summer so he can shine big this season. He is a D1 guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258749' first='Chavel' last='Williams Jr']

This young man did not disappoint yesterday. He was on point with his quarterback. I was very excited to see him work out yesterday. He knows how to go and get the football. He runs smooth routes and he has great ball skills.

Tobias McGee

McGee had some great ball skills yesterday. He was also showing off how smooth he was during individual drills. McGee is a player that I think has a good chance of being a slot receiver on the college level. He was impressive yesterday.

[player_tooltip player_id='691270' first='Braeden' last='Gregory']

Gregory is a player we have been keeping up with for a long time. He worked out at running back, receiver, and defensive back yesterday. Gregory is a player that can hold his own at all three of those positions. We think that Gregory is going to be a division one player. Kid has good speed with good ball skills.

[player_tooltip player_id='1258744' first='Bennett' last='Payton']

I like to call this young man [player_tooltip player_id='953393' first='BJ' last='Payton']. He is a guy that we have been keeping up with since his freshman season. Payton was able to come out yesterday and show us what we needed to see. You will see him at edge a lot during the season, but we think he is an outside linebacker. Keep a close eye on him.
