He possesses very good athletic ability with his deep threat speed and ability to change direction. Roberts displays a good sideline-to-sideline motor, displaying good recovery speed and fluidity when transitioning to stay with his opponent. He can line up in off-man coverage, play on the boundary, or take on a role at the nickel position. At wide receiver, he’s a vertical threat. He can stretch the field and hurt you after the catch. This is due to very good foot speed, good COD, balance, and burst.
