I love the 2 season stretch Walker has put out to start his highschool career. He’s a nice sized linebacker who can play downhill and fill gaps in the running game. Through 2 seasons of his career he’s duplicated his performances putting up 195 tackles, 10 TFLs, 3 sacks, 4 passes deflected, and 7 forced fumbles at this point early on in his career. I love highly productive players and Walker is near the top of that production.

Walker is an impressive small-school LB who won’t be hidden for very long. What he just accomplished during his freshman season was fantastic and well deserving of any future looks he may get. He’s a thick and tall LB who can cover a ton of space in a hurry. He’s not going to miss tackles and is as sure handed of a tackler as you’ll come across. He knows how to come to balance properly and attack the outside hip. He’s also got really strong hands so he’s got a tendency to strip the ball away. There were times watching his tape where it seemed like he was all over, but it’s just who he is on the field. 98 tackles, 7.5 TFLs, 1 interception, and 2 forced fumbles round out his freshman campaign. I’d expect big things from Walker as we move forward.
