Jones has put together a really productive season at Berkeley Prep and continues to show why he was on our radar coming into the year. The bigger back brings a physical presence to the position and does a good job moving the chains between the tackles. With 1,000-plus rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, Jones has been a dependable option in the backfield. He isn’t necessarily trying to outrun everybody. Instead, he uses his size, vision and physicality to find positive yardage, finish runs and wear down opposing defenses. I like the way Jones understands his role. He runs with purpose and gives his offense a back it can lean on when it needs to control the tempo.
