He’s passed for 1,615 yards, 15 touchdowns and only 3 int’s, making him the leader in each category for the 4A class. His performance has led the Bruins to an 8-1 record and 2nd place in the region. Calvin is another QB who shined during the 7v7 tournament. He threw with great accuracy, he was zipping it in some tight windows and hitting the WRs perfectly. With good pocket awareness and a quick release he was able to carve up defenses. Calvin showed great understanding of the offense, making nice reads and throwing with excellent timing/anticipation. He is capable of getting it deep as well, showing good arm strength and able to put good zip on his short-to-intermediate passes. Calvin has had great strides in his development as QB over the years and I expect him to have a big season for a loaded Broadneck team this fall.
