Signing day 2021 has passed and most of the top prospects have already committed to universities to play for next year. However, there still remains a couple of talented prospects yet to commit. Today we’re going to highlight a handful of these prospects.
Kameren Epps, OT, Lovejoy
Epps is a great, versatile tackle. He excels at both, run and pass blocking. Epps does a good job continuing to move his feet when driving defenders back. Epps is a strong tackle and does not struggle using his upper body to control defenders. He plays with a naturally wide base. He looks good when sliding in pass protection. His reaction time is nice and does not get beat off the line much at all. He moves well for his size and does a good job moving up the field to linebackers after his first assignment. After decommitting from Akron, Epps is weighing offers from Middle Tennessee State, Kansas State, Kent State, and Akron.

Johnson is a strong runner with nice quads. He does a great job moving his feet through contact and breaks arm tackles easily. Johnson consistently breaks the first tackle. Johnson is a playmaker with the speed to separate from second-level defenders. He broke off multiple long touchdown runs last season. In his senior year, he had 1,561 yards and 21 touchdowns. Johnson looks good when hitting the hole, very explosive. Johnson is dangerous running outside the tackles and can really gash defenses. Despite playing in the smaller, A division, he shows the traits to have success at the next level. Johnson is currently weighing offers from Austin Peay, Georgia State, and Citadel.
Jalin Shephard, CB/WR, Callaway
Shephard is a two-way stud, playing wide receiver and cornerback for Callaway. He is a great athlete with speed and it shows on the field. He runs his route quickly and does not waste time creating separation. Shephard is a deep threat and can stretch the field. His good hands help him on both sides of the ball, he is a legit ballhawk on defense. He does a good job keeping his eyes on the quarterback, he made a fantastic pick-six off a tipped pass. He is impressive in coverage, covering his man then quickly breaking wherever the ball is thrown. He is not afraid of contact and is a sound tackler. Shephard has 10 offers in total, including offers from Auburn, Colorado, and Tennessee.

Tucker is a well-rounded defensive back, there is a lot to like about his game. He is a physical tackler for a corner and can wrap up and drive ball carriers backward. His cover skills are awesome as he comfortably covers his whole zone. His quickness helps with this a lot, he breaks on balls with great bursts. He is a ballhawk with great reaction time. Tucker constantly uses his hands to deflect passes. His body movement is fluid and can run with receivers. Tucker is a promising talent and is deciding between Colorado and Maryland.

Tukes is an awesome prospect. He is quick off the line and really challenges lineman to get set quickly. His footwork is impressive. Tukes makes good use of his hands when rushing and can throw lineman out of his way. Tukes lives in the backfield. He is comfortable maintaining running gaps, patiently waiting until it is time to disengage the lineman. Tukes has the ability to impose his will on linemen. He plays with a ton of energy. At 6’3” 270 lbs, he has great size and strength. He has 13 offers, including SEC schools like Ole Miss, Georgia, and South Carolina.
