He is a balanced TE that you can feature in any offense. He displays soft hands making him a dependable target. He has lived up to our top-5 ranking for him this season.

One of class of 2025 top ranked tight ends Lahman Carpenter Lahman Carpenter 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE Madison County | 2025 State VA has major upside. He has good hands and footwork, looks like he can be a major weapon heading into his senior season.
He is more of an old school tight end who takes pride in his blocking, he is used a lot along the line of scrimmage. That doesn’t mean Coach Helmick won’t line him up outside as he does run very well.
I think he is due for more targets this fall that will lead to many division 2 schools come calling.

I broke down Lahman’s film in my Class of ’25 Tight End articles which you can read here. He is a balanced TE and can be used in run blocking and as a receiver. He measures at a 7’8″ (92″) wingspan. He returns for his senior season this fall. Also plays DE on defense in addition to basketball for Madison County.

Lahman is a balanced Tight End who offers both receiving and blocking ability. You can align him tight to the formation or split out. He displays soft hands as a receiver with a basic route tree and the ability to create positive yards after the catch. His athleticism shows in the run game as he is utilized to get blocks at the second level to clear a path for the ball carrier.
