Brayden had one of the best frames of the position. Standing at 6’4″ 190 lbs, Brayden looks the part of a QB as well as a point guard. Both of which he plays for East Troy throughout the year. On top of the excellent size Brayden also offers dual threat abilities, finding success on the ground on a weekly basis this past season. Watching him throw live on Sunday I was impressed by how efficient and quick his throwing motion was for being a bigger kid. He had no trouble pushing the ball all over the indoor arena and showed some impressive accuracy during 1 on 1s to give his receivers great chances at the ball while also protecting it from the DB. The multi-sport, dual threat QB is an athlete to watch.
Brayden put on a show with his arm and legs in Week 2. The dual threat QB is looking great early in the season. On the ground Brayden made smart reads on options and looks much faster this fall compared to last fall, but it was more his quickness through traffic that sprung him to a lot of his big runs. Through the air, Brayden was aggressive with his targets. He stretched the field and also made a few impressive plays on the run and from off-platform bases. There was no shortage of big plays from the junior QB.
Brayden did a little bit of everything last season for East Troy. He serves as the starting QB primarily, but was able to get involved on defense and at RB and WR at times in 2024. That versatility is a draw on its own, and it also tips its hat towards his athletic abilities. At the QB position Brayden is a dual threat athlete who can flip the field with his arm or legs. He is a raw prospect overall, so I’m looking forward to seeing updated film from him as the season kicks off. There should be plenty of clips to watch as he is the leading rusher returning this fall on top of being the leading passer for his team.
