Crowell gets into our rankings from the 8-man ranks and is a stout and explosive defensive tackle that should fit nicely inside in college and is a no-brainer D3+ caliber player at the next level. He plays with heavy hands, a high motor and can quickly knife into the backfield, read blocks and make plays behind the line with some quick use of hands and natural bend around the corner when rushing the passer. He has the ideal frame/size for the position in college and a good floor over the next few years of his college career. Look for Crowell to be one of the top players in the state across 8-man football and pickup some college interest as well.
