Caleb has very good play strength, with good explosiveness and balance. He is a good pass protector versus a power rusher utilizing a strong initial punch to stun the rusher with very good grip strength to prevent him from countering after the initial punch with a solid anchor versus a bull rush. Shows good Gap blocking on base, down, and double team blocks, coming off the ball with good explosion and leverage utilizing his strength and leg drive to open up the hole for the ball carrier. Solid pull blocker, stays on his path and can drive an anchored defender out of the gap. Shows good processing of block schemes and understanding of blitz concepts in pass protection. He’s a player to watch heading into his senior season.
