Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Regalado completed 71 percent of his passes for 247 yards per game, 43 touchdowns, just one interception and six rushing touchdowns for Colton last season.
The ball came out of hand very nicely at the Elite 11 Regional in February. He’s great at evading defenders in the pocket to buy time for himself and he can change the speed of his delivery based on the the play. He has the arm strength to not lose his accuracy when throwing off-platform and despite the low interception number, he still takes risks with the ball. Regalado has just about every record in Colton’s history and should have more offers.

I also didn’t get to see a ton of Regalado but he was delivering some good looking spirals and the ball comes out of his hand nicely in the reps I did see him take. He also had good ball placement on some throws near the sidelines and in the endzone.

Dynamic dual threat QB that has everything colleges look for in a D1 signal caller. Excellent size and length at 6’2” 175 lbs. He’s a high-level passer both in the pocket and on the run with a strong arm and plus accuracy. He can place the ball downfield with touch and trajectory to allow his receivers to run under consistently showing he can launch the ball 50+ yards. Throws a good ball with good spin that is catchable. Sees the field well and navigates the pocket to manipulate pressure and extend the play. He’s got good speed when he tucks it and runs, can avoid defenders and breakaway in space. Voted Offensive League MVP as a sophomore throwing for2,614 yards and 28 touchdowns while adding 825 yards on the ground with 12 more touchdowns. No offers yet but watch him shoot up rankings and recruiting boards as he gains exposure.
