Lone Star Showdown – Top 15U Quarterbacks

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit began this weekend in The Woodlands for our Lone Star Showdown. Just north of Houston, we got a chance to see some great players and teams compete from Louisiana and Texas. Throughout the next several days, we're going to have a ton of coverage from the event, breaking down all the top players we saw. And we'd be mistaken if we didn't take time to congratulate our champions. Bootleggers North won the 18U division while CG3-CAT Takeover took home the 15U and 14U titles. Keep it locked in for more 15U coverage as well as a look at some of the top standouts from the 14U division and 18U. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>De'Mani Dail Addison - 2027 - CG3-CAT Takeover</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>CG3-CAT Takeover would capture the 15U championship on Sunday. After dropping their first game on Saturday they would win out and were dominant Sunday on their way to the title. Leading them was 2027 quarterback De'Mani Dail Addison and he was incredibly accurate throughout the tournament. Now, they had some playmakers and teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1864366' first='Jamal' last='Polite Jr']. would end up taking home championship game MVP honors. But when it came to the offensive side of the ball, Addison was making this thing go and spreading the ball to his playmakers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>DJ Green - 2027 - Texas Affiliated </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>2027 quarterback DJ Green out of San Antonio really impressed us on Saturday during pool play. Green and his squad got off to a hot start, winning their first two games by double digits. In their first game, they beat a very athletic Bootleggers 337 squad and Green was able to be consistent throughout. During bracket play, they came up short to Bootleggers North by just two points in the tourney semifinals. Green has a quick delivery and was incredibly poised throughout the weekend. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='465282' first='Malachi' last='Zeigler'] - 2027 - Bootleggers North</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our final 15U quarterback was a prospect we knew about coming into the week. 2027 signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='465282' first='Malachi' last='Zeigler'] out of Benton, Louisiana is already a name to know in the 2027 class. And after watching him in person for two days in The Woodlands, it's easy to see why. Out of all the quarterbacks in the 15U division, Zeigler was the most impressive physically. He simply looks the part already and has an absolute rocket attached to his shoulder. There are a lot of things he does very well already. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
