Playmakers for Virginia Class of 2027

Lightfoot who saw action as freshman signal caller last year for the Bulldogs, looks like the real deal. Already 6'0 and 170 lbs. the young man throws a precise deep ball, and seems to have a good command of his offense, which is impressive enough considering the talent on that side of the ball. As his talent ascends I surely can see him among the top ranked kids for his position group, it looks like he can make every throw. On defense the young man has great range and footwork, its not hard to see why he picked off 6 passes last year, he can cover a lot of ground. Offensively it will be interesting to see what role he has as a sophomore, he has great speed and vision at running back as he grows into his 5'9 frame. A quick scat back lined up all over the backfield and in motion, Burton is going to be a matchup nightmare for years to come. A big lumbering athlete who is very physical off the line, he is not a finesse player and will stick his shoulder pads into anyone. He reminds me of backs like Brian Westbrook or Marshall Faulk the way he catches the ball and makes defenders look foolish.
