Recruiting News and Notes 1-26-24

Recruits performed in camps, took recruiting visits, and earned scholarship offers over the past few days. We are going to highlight some prospects that are making recruiting headlines this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Terry Hodges Jr-Running Back-Marked Tree-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the most explosive running backs in the state of Arkansas put on a show this week. Earlier in the week, Hodges Jr. worked through drills and showcased his speed and agility in Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase. Over the past few days, Hodges Jr. earned scholarship offers from UNLV and North Texas. He is a prospect to keep an eye on over the next couple of seasons. I expect big things from Hodges Jr. in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149539' first='Hunter' last='Marshall']-Offensive Line-Farmington-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past few seasons, the Farmington center has been one of the most talented players on the offensive line. Marshall has good quickness, and his strength will surprise opposing defenders. Earlier in the week, Marshall placed his commitment with Southwestern College. Marshall is a player to watch out for over the next few seasons. He has the talent to see playing time on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='443204' first='Kyle' last='Vocque']-Linebacker-Bauxite-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='443204' first='Kyle' last='Vocque'] is a linebacker that played all over the field for Bauxite during the course of his career. Vocque does a great job of getting off of blocks and hauling down the ball carrier. He has no trouble moving up to clog up the rushing lanes. Meanwhile, he is a linebacker that does an impressive job of dropping back into pass coverage. Vocque can make plays on the football and take it back in the opposite direction. Earlier in the week, Vocque earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas Tech University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1336821' first='Jackson' last='Ward']-Running Back-Little Rock Christian-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2026 running back class is shaping up to be a talented one in the Natural State. [player_tooltip player_id='1336821' first='Jackson' last='Ward'] is a running back that has a nose for the end zone. Ward does a nice job of allowing the rushing lane to develop and explode through the hole. He can get into the second level quickly. Ward has a second gear that helped him find the end zone 8 times last season. Last week, the Little Rock Christian running back earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas State University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='211197' first='Ryan' last='Nolan']-Offensive Line-Joe T. Robinson-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One prospect that has the potential to explode from a recruiting perspective is [player_tooltip player_id='211197' first='Ryan' last='Nolan']. Nolan has impressive power and can drive opposing pass rushers to the ground. He gets out of the stance quickly and seeks to punish opposing defenders out of the snap. Earlier in the week, Nolan earned a scholarship offer from Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
