Plenty of 2021 prospects signed with the colleges of their choice, more than 10 with Eastern New Mexico. However, as the month went along, 2022 prospects started the recruiting process. Several have taken virtual visits with coaches at schools from outside the state.
2022 St. Pius X running back Marcus Ybarra and Raton quarterback Dylan Quartieri Dylan Quartieri 6'1" | QB Raton | 2022 State NM recently took virtual tours of the Carleton College campus in Minnesota. In addition, 2023 La Cueva QB Aidan Armenta took a virtual tour of Ohio Wesleyan, while 2022 Rio Rancho RB Zach Vigil Zach Vigil 5'9" | 190 lbs | RB Rio Rancho | 2022 State NM had a virtual tour of FCS newcomer St. Thomas University in Minnesota.
2022 recruiting is off and running.
