About Kai

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play agressive with fast eyes and faster footwork, always working on keeping my pad level down and moving the nearest target from point A to point B against his will.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Dominance, leadership and legacy. I want my gameplay to have a lasting impact on my programs culture and ethic, playing dominant and agressive in the trenches will give the younger players around me role models like the ones I had.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

High School level football has taught be grit, toughness, leadership and work ethic. from the struggle of getting a starting spot to the weight of starting both ways. Thanks to my coaching staff I have learned how to watch film, and understand it at a deeper level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I started out my first 2 years at a place I wasn't valued as an athlete or a person, no matter how well I played or performed, someone else was promoted. This helped me develop an "I'll show you" mentality that has helped me outwork the guy next to me and the guy next to him at every level, anywhere I've been.

What type of college are you looking for?

Regardless of a schools level of play, my highest priority is program culture. I need to be at a place full of work working individuals on and off the field, and a team that truly feels like family.

Brusasco was a big piece on both sides of the line for Springfield and will look to be even better for his senior season. He has the size to be a big recruit for many schools out there, as everyone needs big, run-stopping linemen. Adding more strength to his frame, working on his technique, and being more comfortable playing violently with his hands will take Brusasco to the next level.
