2028 Multi-State Film Session

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It is always fun checking out the young guys. This is a good way to find out who the guys next up are. I was able to receive some film on some 2028 prospects. I was very pleased with what I saw.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1141852' first='Kendrick' last='Walker']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Walker is a stud from Louisville, MS that lays the lumber on the field. He is 5-foot-11, 225 pounds and quick. I know it is early, but I could really see this kid being a division one player one day if he continues to get taller. He is definitely going to be a defensive tackle on the next level. He has the right tools to be a guy that clogs up the middle. I can even see him being a guy that plays nose guard. There are a few things that I saw, but he is only an 8th grader. He will work those things out. One thing I would love to see his him become more violent with his hands. His release could also be a little quicker. He is one I definitely will be keeping my eyes on.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1025988' first='Pervis' last='Holmes']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Holmes is a star athlete type of player. He can play baseball, basketball, and football. Kid is just an athlete. I love the vision that he has on the field. He is able to make the right decisions when they have him at quarterback. He is at Winston Academy in Louisville, MS. He stands about 5-foot-9, and he is around 150 pounds. I think that he is going to be a safety or linebacker when it is all said he done. He is able to read keys well. Holmes is an intelligent player that just started playing football. Imagine where he is when he gets a little more experience under his belt. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1141860' first='Cylen' last='Rougeau']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rougeau has some good film for a young defensive end. He is from Longview, Texas. I was impressed when I checked out his highlight. I noticed that he already understands how to get around offensive tackles. The way that he puts moves on was impressive. It shows me that he is going to continue to be a player that understands what he needs to do at the edge position. I will be keeping an eye on his physical growth. Right now, he is 5-foot-10, 140 pounds. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1077166' first='Ju'Lee' last='Gee']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was impressed with this young man. He has some great size standing at 6-foot, 225 pounds. Gee is already a guy that has a big work ethic. He works hard at his position. He is not a lazy player. Gee has some long arms that help him keep offensive linemen off of his body. He also knows how to shed blocks and get to runners. He has decent speed that helps him get to the quarterback. Gee also delivers a very solid blow when he makes tackles.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>RJ Wyms</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wyms is a player from the Woodlands of Houston Texas. He is a 6-foot-2, 240-pound. Wyms can really move. I think that Wyms is going to be a power five prospect. Kid is going to be a beast. He is definitely a guy yall should know. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1141875' first='Devin' last='Alfred']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alfred is a polished receiver who has been working hard a long time. He already understands how to run routed. Alfred also knows how to catch the ball with his hands. He is going to be a division one player one day. That is my opinion. He is a guy that knows how to get it done. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
